Whot Legends: Terms of Use
Effective date: October 15, 2026
Last updated: October 15, 2026
Whot Legends is made and operated by Arotec Digital Inc. (“Whot Legends”, “we”, “us”). These terms are the house rules for playing. By creating an account or playing, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
Your account
- You need to be at least 13 to create an account.
- One account per person. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you’re responsible for what happens on your account.
- Your nickname must be yours to use and not offensive, hateful, or pretending to be someone else (including Roboto or Whot Legends staff).
What’s public
Whot Legends is a game you play against other people, so some of your account is visible to every player. Before you sign up, know that the following is public:
- Your nickname
- Your profile picture. Pictures are stored in a publicly readable bucket, so anyone with the link can view one, not just players.
- Your rank and stats: games played, wins, win rate, win streaks, total earned and peak position
- Your place on the leaderboard and the daily charts, and how much you earned there
- Your online status: online, in a game, away, or when you were last seen
- Your tournament entries and results, including the brackets you play in
- Hall of Fame awards. If you’re the first to reach a milestone, your nickname and profile picture go on that award, and stay there even if you later delete your account (see the Privacy Policy).
- Who you play. The other player in a match sees your nickname, picture and stake, and your results show up in their match history.
What stays private: your email address, your sign-in details, your wallet balance and your transaction history. The full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Don’t upload a picture or pick a nickname you wouldn’t want other people to see.
KOBO is in-game currency only
KOBO is the currency you stake, win and use for entry fees inside Whot Legends. It has no real-money value: it can’t be bought, sold, withdrawn or exchanged for cash or anything outside the app. Today there is no real-money deposit, withdrawal or payout. If that ever changes, we’ll update these terms first.
We may adjust KOBO balances to fix errors, undo cheating, or respond to bugs. KOBO isn’t your property, and it ends when your account does.
Matches, stakes and tournaments
- When you start or accept a match, the stake is held for that match. Loser pays: the winner takes the reward.
- Each player has a time limit per turn. Running out of time, leaving or not showing up can count as a loss.
- Tournament entry fees aren’t refundable. If you don’t show up for your match, you don’t get the reward.
- Custom rules you set apply to challenges you send. By accepting a challenge, you play by the sender’s rules.
- Results are decided by our servers. If something goes wrong (a crash, a bug, a lost connection), we’ll do our best to make it fair, but the server’s record is final.
Play fair
Don’t:
- Cheat, use bots, scripts, or modified versions of the app
- Exploit bugs to gain KOBO, rank or awards (report them instead)
- Arrange results with other players, or use several accounts to pass KOBO around
- Harass, threaten or abuse other players, including through your nickname or picture
- Try to break, overload or get unauthorised access to the app or its servers
If you do, we may remove KOBO, rank or awards, suspend your account or delete it.
Roboto
Roboto is the computer opponent. Its skill changes as you play. Matches against Roboto follow the same rules as everyone else.
The app itself
Whot Legends, its design, artwork, characters and code belong to Arotec Digital Inc. You can use the app to play, but not copy, resell or redistribute it.
The app is provided as it is. We work hard to keep it running, but it may sometimes be down, have bugs, or change. Features, rules, rewards and KOBO amounts can change at any time. As far as the law allows, we’re not liable for losses that come from using the app, including lost KOBO, rank or progress.
Ending your account
You can delete your account any time from Profile → Profile settings → Delete account. What gets deleted and what’s kept is explained in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change, and for meaningful changes we’ll flag it in the app first. Continuing to play after an update means you accept the new version.
